![]() | I want it to sync hourly or something like that without unplugging the ipod then plugging it back in hourly.

![]() | I guess I'm not getting the question... what kind of ipod do you have? is it a touch? or a classic/nano? as far as apple forums, as long as you don't preface your post with macz are the suxx0rz compared to vista, you would probably get 3 to 4 helpful replies. most of the apple community helps each other out, as does the palm os community. |

![]() ![]() | I'm not quite getting why but that aside here's what I'd look for: itunes command line sync itunes scripts sync itunes automatic sync I found some vbs scripts that might be a handy starting point here. They seem to control the play state which isn't quite what you want but is the first part to making an alarm clock by combining them with the task scheduler. Once you find a sync script/batch/command line option for itunes all you have to so is go to Scheduled Tasks in the Windows XP Control Panel. ** Update *** I found it. Hack Attack: Automatically sync iTunes to any folder(s) Has what you need. Skip down to the batch script. Once you've figured it out use that in combination with Scheduled Tasks above and voila... you'll be able to Sync every hour between 11am and 5pm except Sundays and only during the middle two weeks of a month ... if you like. Please let me know how you get on though... I'm curious what you have in mind. ~ Steph
