2008 predictions - Treo Forum

What are your 2008 predictions? One of mine is that the treo800w will be released and it will be called the centro 500p and centro 500w/wx

I wouldn't think that they would push it down to the 500's, or call it a Centro. The 800 is supposed to be the next big feature phone they put out, so they would want to brand it as so.

Here's my predictions:

PalmOS 6 will be released but almost in 2009 (called something completely different) and it will do what it says on the tin well but only what it says on the tin. 3PD will be left to make it cool without much help or any standards to work with.
The newly released 800 will be compared to the iPhone and found to be better on paper but bluetooth still won't work properly on it and it will not natively handle media as well.
A new hotsync tool will be released that works...better.
Palm will begin turning a corner and fighting back but only after a few more bad shocks. When it fights though, the innovation will return.
I will up/cross grade to a new Palm device from my 700p
My wife will get an iPhone.
The forum will go down at least once this year due to something I do wrong
