ok, so it's Christmas for some of the world, Hanukkah for others. whatever holiday you celebrate, do right by your brothers and sisters on the earth. i don't ever try to sound preachy, but in times like these we need to take a minute to remember that we all have something in common - we're mortal and we all live on the same planet. whether you worship God, Allah, Elohim, 8 pound 6 ounce baby Jesus, Megatron or whomever, remember that everyone on this planet is on equal footing - no one is better than another. we're all somebody's mother, father, sister, brother, daughter, son or whatever. maybe a lot of wars in the world would cease if we remembered just what we already know, and that is everybody needs some love and not just at this time of year. pass the sentiment on if you agree, forget it and move on if you don't, but at least let this get your thoughts going. be nice and allow folks to be nice in return.

So true. No matter what faith we practice or holiday we celebrate, it's all about peace on earth and we could definitely use that now. Very Happy Holidays to everyone!

Amen. I like what you said. John Wesley said it in a very simple manner.

"Do no harm. Do good. Love God."

Those were the general rules of the early Methodist Societies. Jesus said something similar when he quoted some of the oldest parts of the Bible, "Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. And love your neighbor as yourself."

All of that is simply to say. Amen.
