I am going turn off the automatic checking of email to see if that helps. Everything that i wanted a phone to do it did and now after the headphone jack messing up and the phone only working with my blutooth headset, the screen went black after fallin no more than 2 feet out of my pocket onto a cement floor. and all my phone does is light up the screen but its black i can recive calls and stuff if i have everythin cleared off the sreen but i need to know if what to do. Im wondering if the data stip that conects the screen to the mother board might have come loose or if the screen just has worn out, and i was also wonering if anyone has any idea weather the palm treo pro would be good as a replacement and if my sprite back up would bring my text messages over with me. So I've switched from M$ to Ubuntu 9.04 (Linux), and will soon upgrade to 9.10 when it is available.

So, I want to sync my Treo with Evolution... since now I've finally migrated from Outlook 2007. My Contacts, calendar and messages are all in Evolution.

Now I am trying to sync... I can see the bluetooth and it does partner... but I can't see Evolution with SynCE.

When I use the USB cable... nothing... like it doesn't even get recognized...

Any ideas?

I had it off for 3 months because I switched to the 755p. I went to charge the phone and all it does is resets. It shows the Access Power screen and resets. I beleive they just don't want to do it. I have a data plan, does anyone have any advice for setup? I have done theph#, user id and password but no luck. My screen shows a 1X beside the signal strength. :7:
