Hi there, I love my Treo, BUT, I plugged in my wired earpiece the other day and now I cannot use the phone without it!

Everything else works fine, it rings, it does data...everything...but I need the earpiece if I want to make a call. Actually, there are no sounds coming from the Treo except announcements like a call or message...but no button action sounds...nada....I've checked the jack, it appears fine.

So has anyone else run into this?

I support 4 Treos in a corporate environment. One user is having an issue of his 750 locking up any time he types an uppercase I. The only thing he can do to make the device usable again is remove the battery. Any suggestions?

Lost all data: Help!?!

I have been unable to sync my Treo for close to 2 years. I took my phone and laptop to the Verizon store for them to check it out and they said it should work. I made several attempts with my laptop that has Vista and could never get it to work so I thought I would try it with my new laptop that has XP. Still no luck so I go online looking for troubleshooting suggestions. I downloaded the latest driver but still no luck. Then it suggests to update the phone software. OK; what could that hurt. So when it is all done, everything is gone. I'm talking about 6 years of accumulated contacts, memos, pictures, appointments - a lot of them for the following week, month and year. I call Verizon and she states that's what happens when you update the software. Oddly, there were no messages to that effect. And, as I explained to her, when I update software on my laptop, I do no lose all of my data. But there you have it; I have lost everything. Is there anything anyone can do to recover it?
