So, for the last couple days I've had a problem with Internet Explorer. When I open it, the tool bar isn't there (the web is "full screen"), so I can't get to any options/address bar/favorites etc. I can't figure out how to undo this!!

Also, does anyone else have the problem that it takes FOREVER to type something into the address bar? When I type something, it takes about 30 seconds for EACH letter to appear before I can finally hit enter and get the page to load. It's extremely annoying.

Opinion: The Palm Pixi

After a few days of very little hype (and heavy discounting (http://richc.myarchive.us/2009/11/new-palm-webos-powered-pixi-already-being-discounted/)) concerning the Palm Pixi, I've been wondering if I should opt for this new smartphone as a Centro replacement for my daughter. I don't like the idea of committing to another 2 year contract with Sprint, especially after enjoying this past week playing with a Verizon enable HP Mini 311 netbook ... very nice and impressive coverage. Nevertheless, she needs a new phone and I'll probably have her on our plan for the next couple of year, or until her residency. I'm still wondering if it is worth it ... even at $45 (http://www.wirefly.com/eCommerce/SpecialOffer.aspx?cid=34088_fb8f1fdf9f5144039dc43b534de14ca5) if I have to commit to another 2 year hitch? (maybe I should opt for an unlocked model on ebay?) Thoughts?

Maybe this is a stupid question, but, there is a way to keep differents configurations of ip and proxy so I could change this setting quickly? I need to connect my phone to two networks each one with its own proxy and ip range.

(As always in cases like this, sorry for my english)

WebOS/WinMobile Emulator? (Try before I buy!)

So, everything about the Tour (spec-wise) screamed I'd love it.. then I got to play with it, didn't like how somethings worked, (ok mainly trackballing). But With the hassle of getting it, trying it, not liking and sendin it back, I'm wondering if there are emulators that will let me try out the OS's before I have to go through all that.

I shy away from anything with Windows Mobile on it because I anticipate it being ridiculous to navigate. I don't know how everything fleshes out, and there's only so much you can get from user reviews.

I have the same issue with WebOS. I'd like to try these out, in some way, without paying 200 bucks to do it.

Are there emulators I can DL and play with? I can't seem to find any, but here's hoping I'm just not finding them.

I have an old unlimited data plan on my Treo 755p and would like to upgrade the phone without having to upgrade my plan, I am currently paying $5 for unlimited data.
My questions are:
1- if I buy a Treo Pro from a private party can I just ask Sprint to transfer my line to it ?
2- Anything to look out for besides a clean ESN?
